WIN, WIN, WIN

Can Dad Camera has a contract with the Anoka County Historical Society (ACHS) to provide them with external hard drives with tens of thousands of photographs that have been taken in the Anoka County area. These images cover events, people, places (both from the ground and from the air). The project is, as you might imagine, time consuming. Not only does this project require many hours of taking the photographs, but to allow the general public the chance to view these images without having to go to the history center, we upload them to this web site. This of course is an endeavor in itself. Many of these photo shoots are for charities or non-profit organizations with very low budgets. Many times we are paid nothing at all. We currently have over 24,000 photos of Anoka County and over 45,000 total images on the web site.

For those wonderful people and businesses that offer monetary donations to the ACHS we are grateful. Our contract also states that any donations that Can Dad Camera procures (payments to ACHS) will receive 80% to enable Can Dad Camera to continue the Anoka County Sesquicentennial Photo Project.

WIN, WIN, WIN explained further.
Please help the cause and receive benefits too! In return to those wonderful people and businesses that contribute, Can Dad Camera will provide services to them, which gives us more photographs toward the cause. I hope you get the picture.
Furthermore Can Dad Camera will place the name of the contributor on our list of sponsors on our web site, place advertising with those photo images we are able to capture and the ACHS includes your name in their bi-monthly newsletter. We think this is good for everyone involved. Definitely a WIN, WIN, WIN situation !

FOR A LIMITED TIME
- (THIS DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED): Any donation of $100 or more between now and Thursday, March 6, 2008 will also get there name in the Coon Rapids High School Yearbook.

Going statewide with MN150 (Minnesota Sesquicentennial)
Can Dad Camera is also in the beginning stages of building Photo albums of all 87 counties in MN in conjunction with the MN150. We will have a photographer on board the Minnesota Sesquicentennial Wagon Train http://www.ac-hs.org/wagontrainindex.htm and hopefully (weather permitting) will be able to take aerial photographs of this event as well. [any sponsors?] We currently have photos representing 34 of the counties. If you know of a photographer that would like to contribute to the cause, we invite them to join the volunteer photographers currently helping with this project.

Thank you for your time and support.
